Photoshop 7 RAW support Can't Post

I have seen quite a bit about the new PS CS2 and RAW support, but not a lot about the PS 7 support for RAW files. I know it handles RAW files, but what extra work is involved using PS7 for RAW stills as opposed to CS2?

It can open and handle RAW files... it is just that CS2 does that far better via the Bridge. CS2 was better designed to process RAW in bulk.

So CS just handles the bulk edits better?

And remember that PS is not fully a 16-bit app at this point in time. That will be improved when Lightroom is finally released. PS at this moment is sluggish with RAW files and is a tad difficult to color calibrate to the level you need for RAW files. But, that will all be improved by the time Lightroom is released.
