I got our first picaboo book today. First impression: like something from a scrapbook store. The images printed fine, but the cover is made of basically a heavy construction paper (soft cover book). Also, the "viewer" that their program uses shows the "book" and pages turning and everything, but the cropping on the final product when you order the book does NOT match what their previewer shows. In fact, between 3/8 and 1/2 inch is cropped from the top AND bottom. I say "between" because it doesn't stay consistent from page to page. Some images have more cropped on top, others have more cropped on bottom. On the edges, some are not cropped at all, some have 1/8 or so cropped off. This makes it very difficult to even plan ahead for cropping. Also, they are bound pretty sloppily. In several instances the photos were inserted into the binding "crooked", which wouldn't matter TOO much except I had horizontal framing bars and some text on some of the pages, and you can see a definite slant to the text up by the top of the page (large top gap on left side of text, smaller top gap on right side of text). So, I would not consider them for anything other than maybe friends and family - in a way that DOESN'T represent your true work. For $25 you can't ask for much, but I would at least expect them to print what they advertise and put the pictures in straight. I submitted my feedback to them and will see if they even respond. Anyway, that is my first review. -Postal
