Pricing Can't Post

I would like to know what the best way to price a photography package for weddings.

I just got this inquiry:

Project budget: Please give 4 options start at $750, 1500, 3000, 6000

: Need a skilled color photographer to meet with about photography for my wedding day 9/10/05. working with minimal budget. Would like to have negatives.

Re: [beaumier30] Pricing [In reply to] Can't Post

don't be fooled by the limited budget if she's willing to go up to 6 g's!

The way I came up with pricing is lots and lots of research - google wedding photography and check out the prices. I collected all the data and then took averages, figured in my location's economy, and molded it to how I wanted to operate (hrs/exposures/albums/etc).
