Question I thought I'd never hear Can't Post

Met with a prospective photo client.

During the meeting they said "We plan on getting a
videographer ... there won't be any conflict, will there?"

LOL. LaughLaughLaugh

Hi Brack,

Just tell your photo client, no problem, that you'll talk down to the videographer too throughout the day. Wink And, remind them they can't hang a DVD on the wall; that alone will solidify your very important and highly valued perception with them. I would also make it clear that regardless of how small the church is, you expect to have a reserved seat so when you're not taking pictures (which is for the brunt of the service), you can sit and relax and be "unobtrusive." Cool

You know what's sweet about being in this position, John?

You can ask "Have you decided on a videographer yet?"

And they may reply "No, do you know anyone?"

"Well, as a matter of fact ... " Wink Cool

Who knows ... You may even get to work with some of your VU friends.

May be helpful to have a little bit of discussion with the client regarding
whether video or photo is more important. Perhaps a little friendly
pm to the videog to say that photo takes precedence. Sly

They asked me for a suggestion for a DJ, too.
I'm thinking photo is generally hired before video and DJ.
