Resource for photo contracts/agreements? Can't Post

Are you writing your own contracts/agreements for customers to sign for shooting events?

I'm basically putting together a standard sales agreement, saying I provide X number of hours of coverage for $X per hour. But I guess it will need to state things like ROUGHLY how many pictures they will receive, how/when the pics are to be delivered (i.e., immediately following the event/or within 24 hours of the event in case a disc can't be burned on the spot), rights of use (i.e. all commerical/personal rights of the pics belong to the customer, photog won't use them for public display or personal profit), etc, etc....

For non-paying gigs, I've got a generic pad of model releases. But for paid event work, I'd like to have the proper forms to cover my butt, instead of the Frankenstein contract I've created for cheap wedding videos. Any thoughts, examples, resources, suppliers, links, etc, appreciated!

Hi, Rusty.

I just used my video contract and basically switched out
"video" for "photo".

I did the same thing but tweaked it slightly. Don't forget to put in something that they are responsible for obtaining any permits required to do photography.

No one has to get a permit for doing their wedding photos at a park? What about places that charge for this service, make sure that the client knows that they are the ones responsible for obtaining the permit and paying the fee

Maybe it's a Canadian thing?
We have to get a permit from the parks department to take the wedding party down to a park and get photos done. Mind you mostly it is fairly inexpensive, here I believe it is $30. But there are really nice estates that people also go to for their photos. Sometimes it is about $350 or so to have the wedding photos taken at these places.

I have no idea. Anyone from the States heard anything about permits being required for shooting in a park?
