Sample image from wedding Friday Can't Post

Ok..I played with it a bit. I posted the original and the "tweaked". I just tweaked it for fun to play with a new plugin and it gives it more of an unreal feel.

I don't have much in the way of REAL wedding photos, since I was doing videography (and fighting a back-focus issue the whole time Mad), but I'll post a couple when I get a chance. I DO know that this wedding made me go out and get Noise Ninja just because I am picky about noise. It is probably not visible (400 and 250 iso for most) but that is just me.

Anyway, the photos:

This was the original. It is the Washington D.C. Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That is where the couple got married.

Here is the modified:

I had the opportunity to record at wedding at that location, but the date was already booked. You can't miss the temple off of the 495.
If I'm correct, there is no filming inside.

That's a nice picture. The processed version looks great. I might use the dodge tool on the bushes to bring back detail in shadows.

I think that is S.O.P. for all Morman Churches (Temples)....
Top Secret.... yea, that's the type of church I want to be in... Cool

yea...no recording of any kind inside. Not really top secret, but considered sacred ground. Usually they do a formal photo shoot outside, though, and the grounds around it are very well maintained and provides a nice area to shoot (except it was so blasted hot and humid that day...bride and groom attitudes turned a little sour pretty quickly - but looking back at the footage, we got some pretty good video shots).

Does this mean you "didn't" record the ceremony? or did they do the ceremony at a different location and not inside the "temple"?

If that's the case, then I DO want to shoot morman weddings.... Tongue they seem quicker to edit.....

Nope. No ceremony recording. Not really quicker to edit...because this one had a 2 hour photo shoot after the wedding...yes, 2 hours....that needs to be edited to a highlight since a photo session doesn't really have any formal flow to it. Not that they all do a "highlight" of the photo shoot.

I did record the reception, though. It may be easier to edit, too, since there isn't any alcohol served and they are pretty tame (never seen one get out of hand at all), but they aren't as "interesting" as some of the others Tongue
