Single Page design Can't Post

Some of us have thought about offering single photo per page album designs. I'm definately going to push for that next year. I just uploaded a sample album that I can now show.

This particular bride did not order an album. I just e-mailed her to let her know that I enjoyed her wedding and used the photos to promote a new design/album. I'm anxious to see her response. (If she does respond.)

This was done on a 12x12 linen coffee table book. If I had to do it over I would make it a 10x10. I just think the 12 is too large.

Anyway ... close to 100 degrees outside at 2:00 in the afternoon. Not the best of 2006 conditions.

Is it that you actually place the prints onyo the album pages?
Or are the pics printed on the album pages?

They are printed directly onto the page ... coffee table style book.

And what size photos do you think are appropriate for
a 10 X 10 album with only one print per page?

Any size that looks right depending on how it's been cropped.

I like it Scott. I know lots of Brides want a complaex layout but that seems like a lot work to me. Maybe not after a while but the one pic per page looks like a great way to start.

BTW. I really liked the relax, natural look in # 13. The processing was perfect for my taste.

Thanks Jim.

And as a follow-up ... as mentioned above this was a sample album and happened to be a couple that did not order or show any interest in an album.

I just received an e-mail from her before dinner. She wants to know if she can purchase that album.

I'm thinking ... you sure can! Cool

My next one is going to be a single image per page in a fine art book ... probably an 8x8.

For my bridal shows that will give me a fine art book in a 10x10, 8x8, 6x6 (parent album) and 12x12 or 10x10 in a linen covered coffee table book.

Now I just have to come up with a better booth display than last year.
