That's pretty funny those guys beating the crap out of each other... what a world we live in... Anyway, how did you get that close to the action? Those are good shots Glen.. I liked the color that your produced and you had some pretty cool angles. And I would think that on some of those shots you only had a split second to get the shot so in that light, it looks to me like spledid job. Were you paid for that or just a spectator?

lol...don't get me started on the whole "fighting is barbaric" thing. MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighting has less injuries than Boxing and never a single fatality. There are at least 2-3 boxers killed in the ring every year. Football is another great example- that's causes wayyyy WAYYYY more injuries than MMA as well.

*end rant* Wink Anyway I was shooting ringside at this Atlantic City event. The credit goes to an old forum regular "Chop Suey Chris" that set us up with press-creds to get this job. It wasn't a paid gig but was exciting to photography my aboslute favorite sport...UP CLOSE!

The camera I used had a good deal to do with my success with the imagry. I was using my 1D mkII which is geared towards sports shooting with a burst rate of 8 fps.

Wow, that is impressive... I remember Chop Suey Chris when I first started on this board 4 years ago. Didn't he go on to do commercial work or something?

I'm not sure- he practically fell off the face of the earth. His cell is turned off (changed) so I can't get a hold of him any more. Unsure
