This is getting interesting - another engagement shoot Can't Post

Here's the shoot from this past weekend. What a challenge - the groom was so stiff and they felt completely awkward doing anything that wasn't completely posed. Took a while to loosen them up. Do they look stiff to you? Tried some funkly editing on a few...

Here's the interesting part:
We're not shooting their wedding, it's next month. BUT their photographer is one we don't work with. Muh ha ha ha ha ha. I have this fantasty that they will use one of the engagment pics for something at the wedding and the photog will ask where they had it done and I would love to be there when they said our name. Cool

We have completely different approaches - he is very in your face and right up front (even when he's not allowed to), and we stay back. His philosophy, which he told me himself is, "Shoot first, apologize later." That's great, except he blocks the entire video. We've corresponded over the issue and agreed to disagree, so we decline jobs b/c who needs the aggrevation.

I would love to hear the bride's feedback after the wedding day - see if it matches what so many others have said. Either you click with him or you don't, and I've seen equal amounts of both. I'm just amazed by those who don't figure it out until their wedding day. But he's not overly expensive, so I guess that's the trade off.

very nice set. The only one I hmm about is the last because I can't see their faces or eyes, which is crucial to me.

Hi Jenn

You're very talented, the photos look wonderful!

I like the end photo (sorry colvin), but I like things like that.

My only comment would be there is one photo (somewhere in the middle) where wrinkles around her eyes are very noticable. I wonder if a softening filter or healing brush would draw attention away from it a bit? No need to get rid of them, but just deter the eye.

But I do love the photos - they're great, thanks for sharing!!
