Would it include a built in falsh, and maybe those extended rear view mirrors??? ...since it eclipses both the base and the photographer.

Sony VX2100's, iRivers, M-audio 24/96, Canon 5Ds/20Ds (and too much glass), Vegas6, PhotoShop CS3, Lightroom, etc.

I don't think any of the Sigmas have IS.

I was thinking 5K$ but I wouldn't be surprised if you're closer.
I know Sigma makes a tele zoom of
50-500 (f/4 - 6.3) that goes for about $950 - it's referred to as
"the Bigma" because of its size (which is much smaller than this
new lens).

Bigma:

Could anyone see using this at a ceremony? Or is it just way too slow?

I saw where someone suggested getting some flames airbrushed
on it like this:

No big deal - photogs don't have to be concerned about being inconspicuous

at events.

I just saw where a guy said he'd be willing to pay 12K$ for it.

He also mentioned that Sigma makes a special order
lens of 1200mm f/5.6 for the price of ... ~75K$!

Well they have the "Bigma", that 50-500mm zoom, so I guess this would be the "M.O.S"
"Mother Of Sigmas"

Wonder what that would look like going through an airport scanner.......
