is for mike and judy white.
yesterday i went to the embed tab on the bottom of the screen,copied and tried to paste it on our blog but kept getting an error message. something about i didn't need to dowload this tab.
like i said, i'm a dork at this stuff.
today, i can't see the clip at all, just the words on the site.

Hi Judy,

Most blog administration panels have a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) area, sort of like a word processor.Then there's usually also an "HTML" or "Code" tab where you can paste code. That is the section where you need to post the video code. If you post it in the WYSIWYG tab, all you'll see is the code, because that's what that area is designed to do. Does that make sense?

What's a "permalink" that you mentioned?

The permalink is the direct link to the specific blog post vs. the main url for the blog. So, when you make a new post, it will appear at the top of your blog's main page: www.myblog.com. But, as soon as you make another post, that first one gets pushed down. By the twentieth post, the first one is not even seen. If you want people to go directly to that post every time, you'd give them the permalink. So, it may be www.myblog.com/?id=3, or www.myblogger.com/this_is_my_first_post.html.

So ... when someone clicks on the permalink, does the
referenced post just appear at the top of the blog, with
the older posts below it? Or would the link bring up
just that post, with no posts from other days?

The permalink displays just that post and the comments associated with it. When you post a video to share wit a bride, you should always send her the permalink.
