Ask yourself these questions:
What style of photo album do you want to sell her (does she want)?
How much money does she have to spend?

Coffee table albums, from what I have seen, start at around $300-$400 for printing and binding for a good quality one.
Regular photo albums (leather) can be purchased for MUCH cheaper, but you have to put the photos in them rather than having the images printed directly on the pages.

She may prefer one style or the other. If you do a coffee table album, remember all of the time you will need to spend to lay out the pages individually and factor that into what you bill.

For practice on how to do them, you could use someone cheap like picaboo or even Walmart (they use Snapfish I think) to do $15-$30 photo books for your own reference. That will give you an idea about how things look in a book type of format at minimal cost.

Candid 2000 is a good place to start. They have the Destiny, Legend, and some new one out ... maybe the Tuscany?

They have a three day turnaround on their products. I haven't used them yet, but they have gotten excellent reviews in terms of having a good product at an affordable price.

Should you decide to use them ... please report back. Cool

I'd maybe start out by asking her if she has anything
in mind? Has she looked around at all and seen anything
she likes? What ballpark price range is she thinking about?

I'd start by visiting the professional album sites and register. You have to wait a few days to be able to look at the price lists. Most only sell to professionals and they need to check you out first. albumsinc.com has quite a variety of traditional albums and is a good place to start.

I believe both Jenn M and Rusty B made photo books, you could see what they think of the ones that they got.

I've used traditional albums for the couple of times I've made albums but they are a PITA and I don't like putting them together.

Graphistudio is sending me some stuff, but I have yet to get it.
