Just one of these every two years would be fine for me.

Sly I don't even have to connect to the link. Gary has every photographer talking about this. Half of them seem to agree with what he's doing (he doesn't want to do weddings anymore), and the other half are darned near pissed.

I think the ones that are ticked off do have a valid point. There have been so many negative articles about photographers being over priced that it looks bad to the public. If you don't want to do a wedding, don't advertise it.

Oh well ... no big deal to me either way.

Is he still making money despite the high fees? I'm really curious.

As of today ... no he has not. Don't worry ... we'll hear about it when he does. And I'm guessing there's some idiot out there that has nothing better to with their money that pay for it. As I said, Gary does not want to do weddings.

When I get to that point I'll just raise mine to $5,000. That should be enough to cut me out of the business. Angelic

Wedding/Event Day Rate $120,000 ($10,000/hr for a 12 hour coverage - this is a reduction from the regular fee of $12,500/hr) $40,000 is required to hold the date, Balance due 21 days before the event.

How can it be a reduction in rate, if he's never booked one at that rate???
