Amazon has a little better price - I just ordered this lens from them. $374.94, no tax and free shipping if you can wait.
Also there is $30 rebate on this lens. You can print the rebate form on Amazon.

Thanks igor_b! I'll probably order this today and pray that it is here by this weekend so I can play with it...I'm so excited as I have always loved a good picture and photographic art! So do you love this lens and do you think I'll be able to shoot from the back of the church without a flash and get good images? Can this lens zoom in fairly tight or do I need a longer piece of glass for that?

I am still waiting for this lens to arrive - should have it in a couple of days. I hope to use it this weekend. If that happens I will tell you about my experience.

I can't find the rebate form anymore? Is the rebate over? I ordered the camera today and need a lens or I can't play with my new toy!

Well I finally have everything I need to at least start taking pictures! That Tamron lens was actually much bigger than I envisioned it in my head and I saw no hesitation what so ever in the auto focus. I wanna still play with the settings and see jsut how good an image this thing can get but here is my first picture I took out in my back yard. I believe I have it set on jpeg large but not sure? I have a lot to learn real fast as I have two local high schools and even some college girls lined up to model for meCool I'll post some more pic's later from the high school game I'm going to tonight and then again when I start doing the models. I'm wondering what kind of look I'm going to get this Saturday from the photog when she see's this 20D hanging around my neck...She'll probably want to throw me out! Eventually I want to get some real good studio lights and softboxes and shoot less video for more money and more photography for even more moneyWink
