Stupid question. What are the benefits of lightroom? I read up on it on adobe's site and not really sure I would use it.

I haven't managed to download it yet so I don't know Frown
it is supposed to speed up workflow by making initial corrections and grading quicker.

I was going to load it on my Mac but it requires version 4.something. Unsure

It has been on my getright download list since I first posted but won't start! I am not so desperate now that I have read several reports of it being so buggy it screws up PS, which I can't afford to have misbehave in the middle of the season.
