flickering digital photos... Can't Post

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but anyone know how to stop the flicker in digital photos (jpg's) when doing a photo montage??? I'm using FCP

Not sure if it applies, but vegas will do this is a bit if I don't use the "Best" render quality setting for larger photos.

Perhaps there is a similar setting in FCP.

Is this happening when you apply motion to the photos?

I'm on vacation in St Agnase, MI right now ... but I think there is actually an anti flicker in FCP. You can also try deinterlace filters.

Just curious are you importing full resolution digital photos into FCP? If so resize the photos in photoshop to something like 750x500 and then bring in the smaller photos into FCP.
Photoshop will do a much better job at resizing than FCP does.

See my posts about this here:

You might also use a de-interlace filter if they are static.
