"hand coloring b&w" Can't Post

Hello All,

I have a job coming up and the clients like my old artsy hand colored b&w stuff. I've always shot film but don't have the darkroom anymore. I'd like to try and shoot it digital. Have any of you done this digitally? Photoshop is my thought but also wondered if I just make prints on matte paper and truly hand color those with colored pencils. How does matte digital photo paper stand up to hand coloring with any medium? Any thoughts or suggestions are grateful.

Thanks,

LeicaM13

Photoshop can do anything you used to do by hand and more. Even better, it allows you to work on a picture without making lasting changes, so you can try out new methods. When you find a good process, you can automate it into an action or download actions that other users have made. Check the retouching forum on Digital Camera Reviews ( http://www.dpreview.com/ ) and http://www.atncentral.com/ .
