lensbabies Can't Post

Anyone ever tried one of these?

I went to the place I normally go when I'm feeling gloomy - the camera store. I tried one of these out - they are so cool! It's on my wish list.

I haven't bought 1 yet but have had my eye on 1 for a long time. Look at the website for inspiration. I like the way that, if you use them in the opposiite way to most people, you can get infinite DOF. I don't know if there would be much time to use 1 at weddings but they would be handy for group portraits or my type of walk around shooting.

I'd never even heard of them until recently, and was reading some posts about them on other forums. Some were saying they were just a passing fad, and apparently aren't "cool" anymore. But I think it'd be a lot of fun to play with...especially if you can slap one on a digital camera, so you can experiment without using up any expensive film. Post some pics if you get one!

I got an advertisement for one several months ago but never looked into it, then remembered the other day at the camera store and checked one out.

It's fun to play with. You could probably take a funky picture of a cake or the venue, depending on your client what style they would like. My mother would hate it.

I think it would be a blast to play with one of these, take some fun pictures of the family pets and macros in nature.

I'll ask Santa for one.

As for not being cool anymore - I'm used to that. Wink.

Here are a few images from a bridal session where I used the lensbaby:

The biggest problem I have with owning it is that I often forget about it during the heat of a session. It is a great change up from the norm though.

Those look great! Thanks for posting.

Do you mind me asking what program you used to create the borders?

Thanks Colvin.

Crazy Adobe - they always want you to buy another software - why don't they just put everything into one nice little package!
