Some of my video brides can now take advantage of my glamour session for a gift to her fiance. Anyone else doing glamour?

thanks for the feedback - that's one problem with shooting models - everyone comments how great the model looks but nothing about the technical exposure aspect - thanks again mjeppsen!

Technically, exposure is great. I didn't like the angle it was shot though. It's almost 90 degrees inverted. If you look longer at the eyes - it would look like you are looking at an alien. I see similar photos like this but they shot it a between 45-60 degree angle

Interesting indeed. So how does this subject come up with your brides and wearing next to nothing? Do you just show them samples and then they pick the types of clothing and poses they are comfortable with? How do the grooms feel about you when they know you have seen their brides as probably only they have? I'm not scolding you, just curious because it definately can be art without being pornography.

it's not really intended for brides per se. There's been a lot of interest in this type of shoot. This model spread the word at Victoria's Secret when she was shopping and everyone was asking about it. What they wear and how they pose is up to them - I just work on the exposure (no pun intended). I ask that their significant other is ok with the shoot. It's not like we had champagne and oysters there - Lots of bright lights, a chaperone, sets, and props. Plus it would have been real weird without the camera. Nothing the public couldn't see at the beach. For those interested check out garageglamour.com

I like the idea of a chaperone with them and I'm sure it makes them feel much more comfortable. I've seen some photography with exotic sports cars and women that were very well done and some of that influence in something like this such as the small of the back, an extreme close-up with the curves and the small hairs and the correct lighting etc. etc. I agree you see less on the beach too! Florida in the spring...pretty soon for me.
