slide show software Can't Post

Any suggestions for slide show software for the PC that will output uncompressed Quicktimes? Proshow would be fine, except it will not output to Quicktime. The software on the Mac doesn't have the features found in Pro Show. Appreciate the feedback. Best, Craig

What does ProShow do that can't be accomplished with QuickTime based applications?
I work on a Mac, but am not familiar with ProShow (also own a PC). Can you be a bit more specific in your descriptions?

Let's hear more of what your trying to do. That would help us determine what kind of software you're needing as well as whether some mac software could maybe do it for you and you didn't know.

I really love "Photo to Movie"

I think it's the best software of it's kind I've used and the output is awesome.

Pro Show will allow a background picture to be used behind the ken burns effected pictures. Current Mac based software only allows for a solid color background. I'd like to incorporate a picture instead of just a color. Thoughts? Thanks...........

Oh. If I want to do that I usually produce a slide show in a video editing application, like Final Cut. I get more procise control over the images that way. I believe there are after market plug-ins available for iMovie as well. I also believe Photo to movie can layer an image in the background. At least I thought that was an option when I examined a sample last year.

An inexpensive way to layer images in the background is to use QuickTime Pro. It is a bit complicated, however, as QuickTime doesn't use a single control window.
