"Sin City". I hated the film, it was FAR too violent. But I've never seen a black-and-white comic done on film and still LOOK like the black-and-white comic. It wasn't an adaptation, it was a transliteration.

Just saw "Sin City" last night. I enjoyed it. The comic book violence was more like a joke than anything real. Ren and Stimpy in the Simpsons seems more violent to me. The stories are all based on the "graphic novels" of Frank Miller. My favorite aspect was the art direction. And the film noire take off was entertaining.
