Some questions regarding 16:9 anamorphic adapters for DV cameras:
1. What solutions are available for viewing the image in the viewfinder or LCD screen of a DV camera so that it does not appear "squeezed"?
2. Can the 16:9 adapters on the market be used on top of other lens adapters such as wide angle adapters or diopters for extreme close ups?
3. Does a 16:9 monitor automatically "unsqueeze" images captured with a 16:9 adapter or is there some other step involved?
4. Will the image captured with a 16:9 adapter be automatically unsqueezed by Adobe Premiere editing software? What other editing software has features which will "unsqueeze"images captures with a 16:9 adapter?
5. Are there any companies besides Century Optics that have 16:9 adapters currently on the market?
