Anyone interested in Music Video Production? Can't Post

I found these discs and they're a pretty good resource, and also pretty entertaining if you're into alternative rock.
www.directorslabel.com

They pretty much highlight all the biggest, or should I say the most talented, directors in video production. The first series had Michel Gondry, who made the brilliant Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, and Spike Jonze, the almost equally brilliant Being John Malkovich. I read at Universal that they released a second series that includes Anton Corbijn, Jonathan Glazer, and the Mark Romanek disc that I bought randomly not knowing there was an actual box set out.

These discs go through the concepts, execution, and techniques of video production, plus you get interview comments from the artists and directors involved. The Romanek one in particular has Mark discussing his videos in detail, really interesting.

Anyone live in LA, by the way?

I'm now summing up some numbers for contract approval and I'll be doing my first music video, hopefully, with a start of January.

I wont mention the name of the artist, but hopefully, with my vision and his music, this music video will be a successful venture AND will help launch his career (his music will do that) and augment mine. It's been a two year battle but I'm starting to get some commercial work that's paying very well.

I'm in the Los Angeles area if you need any assistance on any of your projects - and will be available as soon as I finish my movie shoot which is anticipated for 'shoot' completion by years end, then on to post-production.

I was intrigued by the web site, until I saw their Terms Of Use page. Black type on a black background! Gives you the feeling they're trying to hide something.
