Dear Filmmakers,
We would like to invite you to become a member of Short Films Direct.
(www.shortfilmsdirect.com) This web based short film distribution service was
designed to promote work from the growing numbers of talented and
underrepresented filmmakers.
Short Films Direct exhibits the work of filmmakers in a clean and intuitive
website. Offering a variety of tools, Short Films Direct promotes each
filmmaker in a number of ways. Through customizable portfolios, bio pages,
downloadable previews and film synopses, each member is able to offer clear
insight into their work.
Most importantly, Short Films Direct provides each filmmaker with hassle free
film distribution. Here is how it works:
Each film is offered in a categorized menu for a price specified by the
filmmaker. Customers can browse through the menu, watch previews, and read
information provided by each filmmaker. Interested customers simply add each
film to a play list and purchase the compilation on a single DVD. Every month,
Members will receive payments for the films they have sold. Members are paid
60% percent of each film sale. The filmmaker will always have total control over
and retain complete ownership of their films.
