We can understand why there is question, but the Palooga Awards (as stated on the site founded in 1999, established in 2001 as Palooga Pictures, L.L.C.) is bringing and striving for a new standard in the industry and we plan to be around for a long time. The entries are judged by executives at top companies in the industry including Clear Channel Worldwide, ABC and Time Warner (judges in no way represent the opinions of their respective companies). This is the first year for the awards, and we have had some of the support staff (mainly volunteers) hit some of the boards and forums to do a guerilla type campaign strategy, but the strategy was wrong, especially since there was just the name on this board (CH125) and no other information added on the company. We've asked our original poster to remove their listing so we've created one name under Palooga to add posts throughout the web (we did not know the original was placed under weddings - this category seemed appropriate when we reposted). Again, because it is our first year, there will be those who question the history and the quality of the judges and the company. For those of you who do have questions on the awards, please feel free to send any questions to info@palooga.com - thank you to those who watch the board and protect the users. We are striving to become a more robust Telly Award (http://www.telly.com) or a more competent http://www.videoawards.com/, http://www.omniawards.com/, http://www.aegisawards.com, or http://www.accoladecompetition.org/ - I'm not sure if they were trashed on public forums before they even had a chance to prove themselves their first year, but we would appreciate the opportunity to prove ourselves first. If anyone has questions, please ask us directly, and please do not rely on libel fabricated postings. No one has contacted us directly. --- Calling All Filmmakers The Palooga $20 Online Film Fest is in full effect and calling for your films.
