http://www.flickson66.com info@flickson66.com We fly you in, house you, feed you, provide you with all equipment and a crew, and all you need to do is shoot your movie during one wild week in the new Wild West! Deadline for submissions is April 1, 2000 Apply Now! From Sandia Pueblo to Sandia Labs, our land is your land. Just send us a ten-minute script for a movie that can be made using digital equipment. On the basis of the scripts that intrigue us the most, as well as your vision of how you see it being filmed, we will select ten finalists to come to the Land of Light and shoot it out for the grand prize. Win a digital video camera and editing system. Finalists have the option of directing their own scripts, or bringing along someone they've chosen. They also have the option of bringing along two actors. Outside of that, the cast and crew for each film will be drawn from our own resources. Each director will be assigned a digital guide experienced in this new field of filmmaking. We supply the camera and the editing facilities. Directors have one day to scout locations, one day to cast, four days to shoot, two days to edit, and on the seventh day their finished product is due at High Noon. That night, their films will be screened with the other finalists at the El Rey Theater. The winner will be awarded the Palm de Grease. The runners-up party all night with the rest of us.
