If the person is in your area and doesn't have to drive far. I'd offer them $100 - $150 and see what they say. Especially if you can give them more work in the future.

Have you googled "voice overs" or "voice talent"

THERE are TONS of great people that do VO's over the net... you can find exactly the voice you are looking for and compare rates too! ...

Send them the script and they e-mail you back the VO in a matter of minutes or hours...

That's good to know. Last year I had a project that required some VO. I called the local radio DJ's but none of them seemed interested...Unsure

It varies depending on demand (and unions). I usually try to throw em 250 bucks. In return I demand same day turn around. They guys I use are awesome. I can offer contact info if interested. They are always just an email away.
