Freeze Frame Can't Post

How do I make still shots or freeze frames as part of a movie? For exaample a charector is drinking coffee and you want to freeze the shot on his face for a few seconds.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
I'm using a VX2000.
Regards Carolyn.

Re: Freeze Frame Can't Post

Use the digital effect called "STILL" on your VX2000.
Set the effect, then shoot your video, and when you want to still shot it, press the dial on the back of your VX.

This effect is done much easier and more precisely in the edit suite. Of course, the downside is that you must have access to an edit system that can perform a freeze frame. Additionally, assuming you do have a decent edit system, it will help if you increase your shutter speed when filming so that you have a sharp frame to freeze.
