I'm going to Sundance! Can't Post
The Signal, an independent horror/sci-fi movie, will premiere in January at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. It was produced here in Atlanta earlier this year. I appear in the movie as "Ken". I get killed pretty quickly, but I have a decent amount of screen time as a corpse.

It was shot on the Canon XL-H1 with a Mini35 adapter.

You can view the trailer on their MySpace page, or you can view "The Signal" itself by clicking on the official website.

Will any other VUers be in Park City in January? If so, please send me a PM and hopefully we can meet.

Looks interesting, Christopher. I liked the MYSpace trailer, but the clip on their site looked broken.

Did you play a part in the production as well as acting in it? Keep us posted on how it does at the festival and beyond.

The flash movie on the official site is "The Signal" itself. Here's a description of the movie:

"A mysterious signal is being transmitted from all media devices in the city of Terminus, provoking murder and madness within the psyches of its inhabitants. In THE SIGNAL, one man battles to save the woman he loves from the vehemence of her crazed husband. But, in order to succeed, he must first determine who he can trust in a city where everyone appears to have succumbed to the violence of the signal--including himself."

THE SIGNAL was purchased by Magnolia Pictures just hours after the world premiere! This movie has been getting great reviews, including two raves from Aint It Cool News:
