Need a digital capture card Can't Post

I've just bit the bullet so to speak and bought a handheld digital video camera with the intention of working on student film projects. I have an initial project with a scriptwriting friend at university but all I need now is a digital video capture card which I believe starts at about $A700 (australian dollars). Being a student myself one can understand that this is a little steep, especially after working my butt off to buy the camera. Do any Australian readers know of any outlets for second-hand digital video capture cards, providing all is legal?
Thanks for the time, Paul.

I can sell you Bravado DV 2000 for US$300 (original software) Can't Post

Hi Paul,
I'm using Bravado DV 2000 (you can only use it with firewire cable) if you want transfer analog footage you will have to use Sony converter or maybe your camera has analog in.
Anyway I will be upgrading to real time editing within 4 weeks. I can sell this one for $300 US (firm) shipping included.

Thanks
