Need recommendations for quality boom pole	Can't Post

Hey guys
I need a really good boom pole. I have been using a cheap mic stand for a pole and now have the money for something high quality. I only have a mic so I think I will need a holder for the sennheiser 67 mic also. I only want the best. I prefer it to not be very long when in travel form. I’m used to about 3 feet compact. So anything smaller would be awesome. I think most are. What do you guys recommend for purchase for me?

I use a Gitzo (bogen) and like it. Be warned that if you skimp and get aluminum instead of carbon fiber you or your boom op will suffer greatly and needlessly, and while I'm here, same goes for on camera lighting batteries...skimp and get the starved electrolyte and you may as well be hauling a car battery around on your shoulder. But if you're no wus the above will be fine if it's what you can afford, which for many of us makes a major difference in every move we make.
