I wish to make some short documentaries and some clips for bands.
I would like it to be broadcast quality.
What camera is hot at the moment?
I have about 3 to 4 thousand to spend.
How can I ensure good quality if I dub over to VHS from this camera?
I have been looking at a Sony DCRVX2000....any good???
Thanks......

Nothing but excellent things about the 2000. Best thing is, if you shop around hard enough, you would probably have enough left over to be able to buy a TRV900.
The best way to ensure the best VHS dub is with a proc amp like the BVP4 from elite video although I'm sure there are others out there. Look around for the best deal!
