Outdoor power? Can't Post

Hey guys,
I was watching a western scene, and it seemed as though it wasn't dubbed, but it was in the mountains, so how did they get the power for the sound equipment?
Regards to all,
Carolyn.

Microphones and mixers run on batteries. On most larger productions, generators
are used to power lights, monitors, etc.
