Yup. A Minolta VHS in 1984 or 5 started it all. Still got it, somewhere. Tried it a couple years ago and no-joy. Had a slew of VHS, S-VHS, 8mm and Hi8 along the way. (most in the basement, somewhare) The Canon UCS-3 Hi8 took a swim doing a whitewater rafting video. Gladly dumped the Pana AG-455 as one of the worst cams every perpetrated on the public. Replaced that with a Pana SuperCam that wasn't too bad. Had 7 VX1000s along the way, one also took a swim. Still have one, not-working-too-good, of those. Heads gone but still works good as a security cam video source. Currently 2 VX2000s, PD170, 2 DSR 200s, 2 DSR 250s, DSR 300, JVC GY DV 300, 2 FX1s, FX7, HV30 and a few JVC MiniDVs for tape rewinding. A couple of D-8 cams along the way used for firewire backups of the main cam. Now Decks is another story, just under 100 kicking around. 5 full size DV, about 75 VHS dub decks - only 10 still on the rack, gotta make a dump run soon! AG 1960s 1970s, 1980s and a AG-W1 standards changing deck. 25 DVD stand alone recorders. 6 DVD dup towers. Sentimental??? oops....
