Hockey Games Can't Post

Hi there,
I have been hired by a local company, to film all of the employees taking part in spoofs or skits. They have been broken up and split into teams, each tasked with coming up with an idea. I'm hired to shoot and edit, not to direct, although I suspect I'll need to do that as well. Anyway, one team wants to do some sort of hockey skit, using footage from a taped NHL hockey team. The question is, can I use it? The final product in this case will be viewed once at the companies yearly get together as an ice breaker and a way to introduce the team members to each other. They have already asked that I include their music selections. I know its not right to do it but they have requested it.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Sean.

I suggest you contact the network that has the footage you what.Establish a contact there on a professional level and tell her/him what you want to do.They often will help you tremendously. It is their footage and you should do what you would expect others to do if it were your footage.
