Swap Betacam or DVCAM Shooting for FCP Training Can't Post

I'll swap one hour for one hour, Betacam or DVCAM shooting, for instruction in Final Cut Pro. New York City Metro Area. My place or your's. No classes, must be One-on-One and you must be very experienced in Non-Linear.
I have a Sony 400A and a Sony DSR500WS. Full Audio Package with Boom, Sennheiser 416, Tram, Lectrosonics Wireless, Arri Fresnels, Chimeras, and 25 years shooting Corporate, News, Network Sports and Documentary. Also extensive exp. as Studio Lighting Director/Designer-will also consider that for swap.

Dale,
Do you have experience with linear editing or with other NLE programs, like Premiere or Speed Razor?
I work in NYC and use Premiere primarily. As of this moment, I don't have a need for a shooter, but I'm always doing something. If Premiere is something you would like to learn, perhaps we could work something out.
At the very least, I'd love to make conact with another New Yorker who uses this forum.

Re: Same goes for me [In reply to] Can't Post

Same goes for me, Dale and Jim. I don't currently have a need for a shooter, but I often do, and I'm always interested in expanding my list of New York film and video contacts.
I've been working as a film and video editor for several years - features (Hollywood & indie), documentaries, shorts, web content, etc. I know Avid and Final Cut Pro thoroughly, and I've used Premiere a bit. Every editing suite has its advantages, but its not that hard to move between them - its software afterall, once you learn it, there's not that much to it.
Anyway, I'm also always looking for good scripts to develop and produce, so keep me in mind if anything comes up and you're looking for collaborators.
Take care.
-Mark

NYC Tape Duplication [In reply to] Can't Post

Dale, Mark, et al:
I need to make copies of an event video. Can any of you reccommend a tape duplication place in Manhattan? I've priced about 10 places, but I'd prefer to go with a company that someone was able to vouch for.
Thanks for your help.
