cost for licensing film production music? Can't Post

I want to put an old 1960s Film production library instrumental on one of my videos.

The rights holder is KPM, located in the UK.

The tune is about 3 minutes long and will be featured on about 1000 DVDs.

Generally, how much is licensing for this type of stuff?

I ask here first to prevent my having to phone the UK. Wink

Prices vary from $0 to "if you have to a$k, you can't afford u$." No way to tell without contacting the rights holder.

Be sure to state the purpose of the project (is it a commercial venture, in-house corporate, nonprofit, etc.)?
State the total number of copies planned.
Offer to provide a credit.
