i just got the go ahead to produce a documentary on a local art fair. what is the best way to find funding and is it easier to get sponsors or investors?

The answers depend a lot on where you're located.

Try to get your hands on a copy of 'Shaking the Money Tree' by, Morrie Warshawski.
This should give you a running start.
