Batteries for the FX1 Can't Post

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could answer a questionion regarding batteries for the FX1...

I want to know if batteries I have from my PDX10 will fit on the FX1?

I have sold the PDX10 and have found batteries for it, and my FX1 is on its way by post !

If your batteries are the InfoLithium "L" series there should not be a problem. However the FX1 will drain them quicker.

Sharon: I don't have either camera but I'm 99 percent certain that the FX-1 takes L series batteries, while the PDX-10 takes M series batteries ... in other words, the battery from your PDX-10 will not fit on the FX-1.

I am now none the wiser.
The fx1 takes "L Series " batteries but will drain them fast?
So what type of batteries do you use with the FX1?

The FX1 uses more power. I have a Sony VX2000 and use the NP-F960 battery. I can shoot all day and still have power to spare. This same battery will also power the FX1 but will not go all day.

I appreciate everyones time taken to reply so far.
I have checked the batteries from my PDX10 they are m series?? So I am assuming they are not compatable with the FX1????

And I need to know what batteries are the best to buy for the fx1? I want to look on ebay...
should I look for L series batteries? are they the one?
Thanks again and please help..
Sharon.

Buy the Sony NPF970 battery. Here is the link for B&H, though they say they are out of stock right now you can get them elsewhere or call B & H and see if their website is accurate.
