Corporate Project HDV Apple Output question	Can't Post

I am shooting and outputting a corporate project to HDV in a couple of weeks. I told them I could do it. (First rule in corporate - promise it and then figure it out). My question is, I am going to deliver the project to the duplicator on a hard drive, can I make a full length DVD in DVD Studio Pro and build it as an HDDVD? I know you can make 30 minute HDDVD's on standard DVD's that you can burn yourself.

yes but your DVD will have to be authored to HD DVD. There is a setting to build i believe, (sorry, not in front of my mac at the moment so I cant say exactly what button.) but you may want to build both versions.....

If you're building an SD-DVD to go along with it, make sure to start with the SD project, then change the setting to HD-DVD in DVDSP. You can change a project from SD to HD, but not the other way around.

And also remember to change the setting when you go to author your next SD project. Its very easy to build a whole DVD, only to realize that you have to start over because it was set for HD-DVD Unsure

this may be changed in the newest DVDSP though, i haven't checked.
