HDV Delivery Formats Can't Post

Hi ppl,

i shoot using a Sony FX1, a wedding in HDV format recently. Edited in HDV on Premiere Pro, and exported as SD-DVD. Had delivered this piece to client. The colors and vibrancy compared to those i shot in SD-DVD are all superior.

Right now, i am trying to export a copy of HD in a computer playable format (i dun intend to go the Blu-Ray route yet, as many end users do not possess a decent player, what they have is a PC/laptop that can play wmv or other formats that is capable of HD).

What format/settings is recommended? I had tried to export like 10 mins of my clip using Adobe Media Encoder. I tried the following format:

Codec: Windows Media Version 9
Encoding: 2-pass
Bitrate: Variable
Pixels: 1440 x 1080
Frame Rate: 25
Avg BitRate: 8,000
Peak BitRate: 10,000

I previewed on a LCD TV, via the VGA cable, and while the quality looks fantastically sharp and color good. There were some issues with possibly the right setting for interlacing. I saw the interlace flickers on the TV. What then is the recommended settings to be used.
Thanks!

Not sure what to recommend to reduce the interlacing flickers, but consider that it might be a connection issue rather than encoding. Also, to ensure smooth playback on most computers, try using a resolution of 1280x720 (square pixel) with a bit rate ~4-6 Mbps.

Thanks for your comments. Will have to play around with the optimum settings in order to really offer this stuff to my client.
Thanks once again.
