HD Footage to DV Question Can't Post

Using my FX1, I filmed the local school play over the weekend in the HDV mode on the camera. I am wanting to edit this in Premiere Pro 2.0. How do I capture this footage into premiere? Do I setup the project as an HD project? or do I set up as a 16X9 widescreen project. What is the best way to do this. I am not going out to HD or blue ray, just plain ole dv. Please help.

Re: [kcvideo] HD Footage to DV Question [In reply to] Can't Post

It depends on if you want to downconvert in cam or in Premiere. If you want to do an in-cam conversion, select a DV widescreen project, then make sure i-link conversion is set to "on" in your fx1 and make sure the TV type setting is 16x9. Then capture like normal DV.

If you want to edit in HD, make sure i-link is off, and capture as HDV or use the cineform codec. Your call.
