New Canon HDV models Can't Post

Anyone know if the new Canons will be compatible with Sony HDV decks, such as the -25?

I'm not 100% sure, but I do know that a Z1 played back only 60i and 30f footage. Final Cut Pro 5 only supports, as far as I can tell, 60i and 30f. Not sure about 50i or 25f (same with Z1 playback). No 24f support with FCP 5 or the Z1.
