Raynox 1540 telephoto Can't Post

Anyone using the raynox DCR-1540 pro with either the fx1 or z1u? I am curious how well it works (it does require adapter rings). I have used other raynox lens in the past and been satisfied and was considering this for a low cost alternatice to the much more expensive Century Optics tele.

We have used it extensively on the ZU1 for live events and found it to be a good lens but it has no zoom thru capabilities so we upgraded to the Raynox 2020. I would recommend this lens.

Where did you buy it from?

Thanks for the link!! Do you notice a significant change in quality, such as color shifting or resolution loss?

Too many questions for a 139 dollar lens.
It has some vignetting and I'm sure the glass is less than HD quality but for live events it's great. For tape applications one would have to do a comparison with several other lens it make a fair assumption.
a little more on vignetting.

I was asking about the 2020 that you said you had. I just want to know if I am at the back of a church and zoomed into max will it cut in well with the closeup cam or will it look loke cutting froma clear cam to a cam with the lens covered in vaseline.

For that application the 2020 is perfect and cheap.

Did you get the Raynox adapter ring or can you use any 62-72 step up adapter?
