The original post referred to Sony's A1. I've had the same experience with the FX1 and HC1. In sunlight, they match very well. But in low light, the HC1 is pretty useless. But if I fire up a 10W light, the image is great and matches very well. I really need to get another camera before this Summer, but I'm trying to hold out as long as possible for more V1U reviews in regards to event work. I couldn't be happier with the FX1, and I can probably pick up a used one locally for $2500. But I would love that 20x zoom for "balcony-only" churches, and 24p would be fun for short movies. XLR inputs are an added bonus, but is all that worth $2k more? --- FX1, HC1, iMac G5, Final Cut Studio The Signal - in theaters October 23, 2007
