Shooting with Sony Z1, V1 and A1? Can't Post

CrazyAnybody shooting with Sony's Z1, V1 and A1 cameras together (any combination)? Do you have any issues when matching these cams for editing?

Thanks,

I've shot with an A1 and FX-1 together. In decent light, they match up very well. In low light, the A1 falls apart; it's maybe three stops slower.

Hang on. I meant a Sony HVR-A1U, not the new Canon XH-A1.

Laugh I don't think you're the first one who's done that...I think it's been happening pretty consistently in some posts by others.Tongue

The original post referred to Sony's A1. I've had the same experience with the FX1 and HC1. In sunlight, they match very well. But in low light, the HC1 is pretty useless. But if I fire up a 10W light, the image is great and matches very well.

I really need to get another camera before this Summer, but I'm trying to hold out as long as possible for more V1U reviews in regards to event work. I couldn't be happier with the FX1, and I can probably pick up a used one locally for $2500. But I would love that 20x zoom for "balcony-only" churches, and 24p would be fun for short movies. XLR inputs are an added bonus, but is all that worth $2k more?

In low light, the A1U is a waste of time. The V1U is a tad darker than the Z1U but matching them both isn't that difficult.....I have multiples of all of these, PM w/ any ?'s!
