Your FCP workflow for 16:9 HDV to 4:3 SD DV Can't Post

I've got to cut together some 16:9 (HDV 1080i60) footage with some 4:3 footage from a Beta SP tape. Final delivery will be 4:3 Beta SP, so it doesn't make sense to up-rez the 4:3 footage.

I've already captured the 16:9 footage at HDV 1080i60. I'd prefer not to recapture and downconvert because it is green screen footage and I've already keyed and color-corrected.

Anyone have any suggestions as to the best way I can convert the HDV footage to 4:3 SD?

Thanks! :o)

I assume you just want to crop edges? Just drop it into the 4x3 timeline and resize to either fill the screen or letterbox.
