for those who own a Z1 Can't Post

Trouble in paradise!!!

I have been very happy with my new Z1, but today I noticed
that it had a slight hissing sound, combination of buzzing/hissing
noise when the camera is recording or on standby not loud but it's there.
I never noticed it before. I am wondering if that was there and I never
noticed or is it something I should look into.
Can some of you guys that own the camera listen and let me know
if it is normal. You can hear it coming from the side by the tape area
and behind the battery.

thanks.

Were you in a pretty quiet setting. I don't have a Z1, but do own a PD170 and VX2100 and have noticed this when I was in a very quiet setting. It is normal if this is the case.

That sound is the head spin, which it does while in stand by as well.
