would this mac edit HDV nicely? Can't Post

i already have two PCs, and I am thinking of getting a mac dual 2.0 processer for the sole purpose of editing my HDV footage

(I am sick and tired of having nice computers that 'kinda work' most of the time, except when I need to use them)

will this machine be capable of editing my stuff nicely, or do I need more?

I will up the RAM (will 2GB be enough?) and additional HD space.

I will also get the 23" HD monitor.

Should this be all I need?

thanks

HI Brian:
I am editing on a dual 2.0 right now. It seems to be doing just fine. I also know 2 other editors in London who are editing on G5s. I am sending you a PM so check it out.
