ATI RagePro conflits with Targa 2000DTX Can't Post

Has anyone been able to sort out the Traga 2000 conflit with ATI's AGP that comes with a G4/450? If the ATI board is plugged in it causes frame drops in capture mode, and in play-back mode perfectly captured movies generate jerks in audio playback. Once the ATI card is extracted all problems disappear but the DVD Movies don't play on the internal DVD-ROM without the ATI card.
