Anyone using firewire drives for DV? Can't Post

Wanted to know how these are working out for anyone.
Specifically, striping a couple together as an
alternative to SCSI and IDE setups (I am aware firewire
is more expensive).
Western Digital just announced a new line, so it's
got me considering.

firewire drives will be great for imacs and powerbooks that have no support for additional internal eide drives. however, right now (if you have a yosemite or sawtooth system) your best bet is running 5400 eide drives with the promax pci card.
